Why does my hand feel a slight shock when I touch the machine door after installation?
Cause: When your dishwasher was installed, the power wire was not grounded or it was grounded but not properly. All dishwasher brands on the market, when installed, require 100% ground connection. This is recommended in the RICHBORN dishwasher manual. You can call RICHBORN technical support number: 1900 8129 for instructions on how to fix it and the phenomenon of the door causing a slight shock will no longer occur.
What types of cleaning products should I choose?
All types of dishwashers should absolutely not use hand dishwashing liquid. Cause: Manual dishwashing liquid creates a lot of foam. When used in a dishwasher, more foam will be created due to the hot water and strong water pressure in the dishwasher. Creating too much foam will not only prevent the dishes from being completely rinsed with detergent, but it can cause foam to spill out of the machine.
All dishwashers on the market must use specialized detergents for dishwashers. Detergent set includes: Dishwashing salt, powder, washing tablets or washing gel and rinse aid (polish). You can also use "All in one" washing tablets that integrate all the necessary ingredients for 1 wash. However, according to the manufacturer's recommendations, the water sources in some areas have high hardness and many metal residues such as calcium, magnesium..., so you should still use dishwashing salt to ensure safety. Long-term, smooth operation of the machine. And if you need more drying results, you should also use rinse aid.
My RICHBORN dishwasher has a bit of an unpleasant smell, what should I do?
The structure of all dishwashers has a door seal to ensure that when washing, water is not allowed to splash out. With the door being so tight, combined with the smell of leftover food left in the garbage pit, it's inevitable that there will be a slightly unpleasant smell. Therefore, you need to clean the garbage bin periodically every 2 days or more, depending on the amount of leftover food or the amount of grease stuck to the filter of your machine. It's best to remove trash and food scraps right before loading items into the machine.
The washing machine is not clean: There is still food grease
Check: The spray crank is clogged, the filter basket in the machine is dirty and has a lot of grease
Do not use specialized rinse aid or set the rinse aid level inappropriately
Using the wrong detergent or improper dosage
Improper arrangement of dishes, stacking objects on top of each other, stacking face down, not stacking close enough to prevent the water jet from spraying and not being able to cover the wash items strongly.
Stacking bulky items can block the spray crank and the detergent lid, affecting the machine's performance
Choose an inappropriate washing program. Do not remove excess trash or pre-treat difficult-to-remove stains.
For burnt spots, dirty edges, especially protein-based foods: bones, meat, crabs, eggs and starch-based foods: sticky rice, rice... need to be soaked or scrubbed by hand before loading into the machine.
The washing machine is not clean: The disher is greasy
Set the rinse aid level to high.
Too much detergent residue.
- For sensitive hands or wet hands, when touching newly washed dishes and feeling slimy, that is a completely normal phenomenon. Because the machine has a part that de-hardens domestic water. Accordingly, the calcium, magnesium, and manganese content in the water will be removed. Removing limescale makes the water softer and makes your hands feel a little greasy.
- If there is a viscous feeling with a lot of foam left on the dishes, it is likely that there is an excess amount of detergent. You should recheck and quantify according to the instructions for use.
The washing machine is not clean: The dishes is white
Do not use specialized salt or set the salt level inappropriately. After pouring salt, do not run the rinsing program. Check if the salt cap is threaded or missing rubber gaskets?
My RICHBORN dishwasher is still wet after washing?
Objective reasons:
- There are some washing items made of plastic that are not recommended for use in dishwashers. The plastic item itself will not dry completely and will also hinder the drying process of other items
- You do not use specialized dishwashing detergent
- The rinse aid (polish) has run out and you haven't added more or you need to increase the dosage setting to a higher level if the polish is still there.
- Select the Eco washing program
- Economical, water is only heated to a temperature of about 50oC, water evaporation ability is lower than other programs, leading to dishes taking longer to dry and water remaining
- Select the quick wash program, which does not include a drying phase
- Select the cold water rinse program.
Subjective reasons:
- For some models with hot air drying fans, which have an automatic fan on/off feature, customers have accidentally or intentionally turned off this feature.
- If the fan does not work, call the Service Center for replacement.
Does the RICHBORN dishwasher need to be cleaned periodically?
Cleaning the machine periodically is essential while you use the RICHBORN dishwasher to:
- Limiting garbage accumulation in the garbage filter and drain water line helps optimize cleaning and drying efficiency.
- Avoid creating engine compartment odors.
- Limit machine error reports.
- Increase the life of the machine.
Distinguishing the drying functions of RICHBORN dishwashers?
- Condensation drying (residual heat): uses a method of increasing the water temperature at the end of the cycle to rinse dishes with very hot water. After rinsing, the dishwasher's stainless steel interior will absorb heat, drawing moisture out of the dishes, drying them and saving energy.
- PTC drying technology: After the dishes are washed, the remaining hot and humid steam will be sucked by the fan into the chamber containing the PTC ceramic resistor to heat to a high temperature of 100oC. After that, this hot air is directed back into the machine compartment by the fan, drying the items inside and then evaporating through small exhaust slots on the door of the dishwasher.
- Storage drying: Thanks to the design of the fan system that circulates air inside the machine, a fan will perform the task of drawing heat and moisture to the pipes and cooling. Here, the water is separated from the air and escaped, while the cold air will be discharged back inside by another fan, helping the machine compartment prolong drying efficiency, ventilation, inactivate bacteria, limit odors and reduce odors, humidity.
